Wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors: roll-over protection, static testing. Codification

PURPOSE: codification of Directive 79/622/EEC on the approximation of the laws of the

Member States relating to the roll-over protection structures of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (static testing).

PROPOSED ACT: Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council.

CONTENT: the purpose of this proposal is to undertake a codification of Council Directive 79/622/EEC of 25 June 1979 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the roll-over protection structures of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (static testing).

The new Directive will supersede the various acts incorporated in it; it fully preserves the content of the acts and hence does no more than bring them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.
