PURPOSE: to undertake a codification of Council Directive 92/33/EEC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed.

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Council Directive 2008/72/EC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed (Codified version).

CONTENT: the purpose of this Directive is to undertake a codification of Council Directive 92/33/EEC on the marketing of vegetable propagating and planting material, other than seed. The new Directive will supersede the various acts incorporated in it. This Directive fully preserves the content of the acts being codified and hence does no more than bring them together with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.
