Amending budget 2/2009: SESAR Joint Undertaking; European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control ECDC; European Railway Agency ERA; GMES operational services; Food Facility

The Committee on Budgets unanimously adopted the report drawn up by Jutta HAUG (PES, DE), approving unamended draft amending budget No 2/2009 of the European Union for the financial year 2009, recalling that it covers the following items:

• the establishment plans of the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) Joint Undertaking, and  the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC);
• the modification of the European Railway Agency (ERA);
• the modification of the budget remarks for "Global Monitoring for environment and Security" (GMES) Preparatory Action.

MEPs also recall that the purpose of Draft amending budget No 2/2009 is to formally enter these budgetary adjustments into the 2009 budget.
