Amending budget 2/2009: SESAR Joint Undertaking; European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control ECDC; European Railway Agency ERA; GMES operational services; Food Facility

The European Parliament adopted by 646 votes to 24, with 7 abstentions, a resolution aimed at approving, unamended, draft amending budget No 2/2009 of the European Union for the financial year 2009.

The European Parliament recalls that this draft amending budget covers the following items:

• the establishment plans of the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) Joint Undertaking and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC);
• the modification of the European Railway Agency (ERA);
• the modification of the budget remarks for "Global Monitoring for environment and Security" (GMES) Preparatory Action.

The Parliament also recalls that the purpose of draft amending budget No 2/2009 is to formally enter these budgetary adjustments into the 2009 budget.
