Resolution on the situation in the Republic of Moldova

Ministers, over lunch, discussed the situation in the Republic of Moldova following parliamentary elections on 5 April. They welcomed the activity led in this regard by the presidency, by High Representative Javier Solana and by EU special representative Kalman Mizsei, expressing the hope that this will help re-establish stability in Moldova.

Ministers also underscored the importance of maintaining strong relations with the Republic of Moldova.
