Wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors: steering equipment (repeal. Directive 75/321/EEC). Codification

PURPOSE: to codify Council Directive 75/321/EEC relating to the steering equipment of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors.

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Directive 2009/66/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the steering equipment of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (codified version).

CONTENT: Council Directive 75/321/EEC of 20 May 1975 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to the steering equipment of wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors has been substantially amended several times. Thus, in the interests of clarity and rationality the Directive should be codified.

The new Directive will supersede the various acts incorporated in it. It fully preserves the content of the acts being codified and hence does no more than bring them together, with only such formal amendments as are required by the codification exercise itself.
