EU Solidarity Fund: mobilisation for Italy following the Abruzzo earthquake in 2009

The Committee on Budgets adopted the report drawn up by Reimer BÖGE (EPP, DE) calling on the European Parliament to approve, unamended, the proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council on mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund.

Under this proposal, the Fund shall be mobilised to provide the sum of EUR 493 771 159in commitment and payment appropriations in 2009 to assist Italy following an earthquake in April 2009.
