Court of Auditors: appointment of a member, Vítor Caldeira - PT

The Committee on Budgetary Control adopted the report drafted by Inés AYALA SENDER (S&D, ES) in which it calls on the European Parliament to deliver a favourable opinion on the Council's nomination of Vítor Manuel da Silva Caldeira (PT) as a Member of the Court of Auditors. Vítor Manuel da Silva Caldeira fulfils the conditions laid down in Article 286(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU (TFEU).
