2012/2237(BUD)
The European Parliament adopted by 672 votes to 19, with 7 abstentions, a resolution approving the proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council on mobilisation of the European Union Solidarity Fund.
The Fund will be mobilised to provide the sum of EUR 670 192 359 in commitment and payment appropriations in favour of Italy, following a series of earthquakes on its territory, and in particular in Emilia-Romagna.
An amending budget was adopted in parallel in order to formally enter in the 2012 budget the relevant appropriations (see BUD/2012/2242).
