European Central Bank (ECB): appointing a Member of the Executive Board

PURPOSE : to appoint a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank. LEGISLATIVE ACT : Decision 2004/488/EC taken by common accord, at the level of heads of state or government, by the governments of the Member States having the EURO as their currency. CONTENT : with this present Decision, Mr José Manuel GONZALEZ-PARAMO is appointed a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank for a term of office of eight years as from 1 June 2004.�
