United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) "Parallel Agreement": global technical regulations for wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts; aligning the Decision with the TFEU

The European Parliament adopted by 683 votes to 11, with 17 abstentions, a legislative resolution on the draft Council decision amending Decision 2000/125/EC of 31 January 2000 concerning the conclusion of the Agreement concerning the establishing of global technical regulations for wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts which can be fitted and/or be used on wheeled vehicles (‘Parallel Agreement’).

Parliament gave its consent to the draft Council decision.
