Court of Auditors: appointment of a Danish member

The Committee on Budgetary Control adopted the report by Igor ŠOLTES (Greens/EFA, SI).

It called on the European Parliament to deliver a favourable opinion on the Council’s nomination of Bettina Michelle JAKOBSEN as a Member of the Court of Auditors.

Following the hearing of the candidate held on 17 June 2015, the Committee on Budgetary Control considered that Bettina Michelle JAKOBSEN fulfilled the requirements laid down in Article 286(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU).
