Decision on the closure of the accounts of the European Asylum Support Office for the financial year 2017

The European Parliament adopted a decision on the closure of the accounts of the European Asylum Support Office for the financial year 2017.
As a reminder, Parliament postponed discharge to the European Asylum Support Office (EASO). The European Court of Auditors had previously pointed to shortcomings in EASO’s procurement and recruitment procedures. Members noted the material and systematic instances of non-compliance of payments.
Parliament has now approved the closure of the accounts of the European Asylum Support Office for the financial year 2017.
