Agricultural prices 2000/2001: silkworms (amend. Regulation (EEC) No 845/72)

PURPOSE : special measures to encourage silkworm rearing. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Regulation 1668/00/EC amending Regulation 845/75/EC laying down special measures to encourage silkworm rearing. CONTENT : The amending Regulation provides that aid shall be granted for silkworms falling within subheading 0106 00 90 of the Combined Nomenclature and for silkworm eggs falling within subheading O511 99 80 reared within the Community. The aid will be granted to silkworm rearers for each box of silkworm eggs used under certain conditions. The aid per box is EUR 133.26. Detailed rules will be laid down, and the Commission will be assisted by the Management Committee for Flax and Hemp. ENTRY INTO FORCE : 01.08.2000.�
