Partial renewal of Members of the Court of Auditors - LU nominee

The European Parliament decided by 530 votes to 41, with 70 abstentions, to give a favourable opinion on the Council's proposal to nominate Joëlle Elvinger (LU) as a member of the Court of Auditors.
The Committee on Budgetary Control assessed the proposed candidate's credentials. It then held a hearing with the candidate on 15 July 2025, during which she made an opening statement and then answered questions from committee members.
