Milk and milk products: distribution of milk in schools

In presenting his report, Mr. Albert MAAT (EPP/ED, NL), stressed the importance of the distribution of milk in schools. If a move is made towards cofinancing, there will be a reduction in the European contribution. This is unacceptable in the eyes of the Rapporteur who defended the position adopted in the Agriculture Committee which seeks to reinstate the budget line for the provision of milk in schools. The vote on this report was postponed to the following plenary session.�
