Counterfeit euro coins: analysis and cooperation

In accordance with the opinion of 1 October 2003 given by the Council's Financial Counsellors, it has been proposed to extend the principles and objectives laid down in the proposed Council Decision of 17 July 2003 to countries which have not accepted the euro as their single currency.
