Partly or wholly dehydrated preserved milk for human consumption

PURPOSE : to establish rules on the conditions for the production and marketing of certain preserved milk COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Directive 2001/114/EC relating to certain partly or wholly dehydrated preserved milk for human consumption. CONTENT : This directive lays down definitions and common rules governing the composition, manufacturing specifications and labelling of certain preserved milk, so as to ensure its free movement within the Community. The general food labelling rules laid down in Directive 2001/13/EC apply, subject to certain conditions, which are specific to certain preserved milk. Member States may, subject to Directive 90/496/EEC, authorise the addition of vitamins to the products within the scope of the Directive. Directive 76/118/EEC is repealed with effect from 17 July 2003. DATE OF TRANSPOSITION : 17/07/03. ENTRY INTO FORCE : 12/01/02�
