European Agency for Reconstruction: extending assistance to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)

PURPOSE : to extend the legal basis of the European Agency for Reconstruction to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Council Regulation 2415/2001/EC amending Regulation 2666/2000/EC on assistance for Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Regulation 2667/2000/EC on the European Agency for Reconstruction. CONTENT : the aim of the present Regulation is to extend the European Agency's mandate in order to include the implementation of community assistance to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The Community assistance to be implemented by the Agency EAR includes that granted under the CARDS Council Regulation 2666/2000/EC, the PHARE Council Regulation 3906/89/EC and Council Regulation 381/2001/EC creating a Rapid Reaction Mechanism.
