Fruit and vegetables: changes to and the future of the Community policy

The report concerning the new dried fodder support regime was adopted (with on vote against). Judging the difference between the Commission's propsoed aid for deshydrated fodder (57Ecu/tonne) and sun-dried fodder (32 Ecu/tonne) to be excessive, the committee agreed an amendment to increase the latter to 40 Ecu per tonne. Mmebers also adopted an amendment with the effect of limiting the possibilities for applying reductions in aid in the event of over-production.
