Transport of certain fresh fruit and vegetables from Greece (amend. Regul. 3438/92)

The rapporteur proposed that the special temporary allowance granted to Greece be extended until the end of 1996 (the Commission had proposed 30 June 1996). This proposal was justified by the fact that the normal conditions of transport which applied prior to the war in former Yugoslavia had not yet been restored. The committee adopted the report by Mrs LAMBRAKI and proposed an emergency vote without debate during the June II 1996 sitting of the European Parliament.�
