The committee adopted the report by Ioannis AVEROFF (EPP-ED, GR) approving the proposal under the consultation procedure. It noted that the proposal, which provided the required legal basis for granting the funds currently entered in the reserve, was in line with Parliament's resolution of 16 September 1999 and the remarks stated in the 2000 budget on budget line B5-202.�
