Excisable products: computerised intra-Community movement system

The committee adopted the report by Piia-Noora KAUPPI (EPP-ED, FIN) broadly approving the Council's common position, subject to a number of amendments under the 2nd reading of the codecision procedure. The amendments were designed to ensure that any extra costs imposed on businesses are kept to a minimum and that any new computer systems are compatible.�
