The committee adopted the report by Sir Neil MacCORMICK (Greens/EFA, UK) recommending that Parliament should defend the privileges and immunities of Mr Giuseppe GARGANI (EPP-ED, I) and that the proceedings pending against him in the Court of Milan should not be pursued.�
