The committee adopted the report by Daniel VARELA SUANZES-CARPEGNA (PPE-DE, E) approving the proposal under the consultation procedure, subject to one amendment stipulating that the Commission should report annually to Parliament and Council on the control and surveillance activities conducted by the regional fisheries organisations of which the Community was a member. �
