Agricultural prices 1994/1995: rice, common organisation of the markets COM (amend. regul. 1418/76/EEC)

1994/95 AGRICULTURAL PRICES: The purpose of this proposed regulation was to fix the monthly increases in grain intervention and threshold prices for the 1994/95 marketing year at ECU 1.16/t, compared with ECU 1.425/t the previous year. There were no plans to increase the target price. The justification for this reduction was the considerable drop in storage costs resulting from the reduction in guaranteed prices (-7.7%) and the fall in interest rates on the loans market. To reduce red tape it was also proposed not to publish the levy premiums or the corrective amounts to be applied to refunds except where necessary. �
