HANDYNET: continued development of the HANDYNET system 1995-1996 in the framework of HELIOS II for disabled people
1994/0168(CNS)
This proposal for a decision aimed to continue the development of the HANDYNET system achieved within the framework of the HELIOS II programme for disabled persons from 1 January 1995 to 31 December 1996. HANDYNET was a European multilingual computerised information system designed to provide information for disabled persons. The aim of this decision was to create two new information modules within the current system: the first relating to training and employment for disabled persons and the second relating to access to public places. Other amendments were provided for in relation to the dissemination of information (dissemination by CD-ROM for example).
