Agricultural prices 1997/98 - pigmeat For the period from 1 July 1997 to 30 July 1998 the Commission proposes maintaining the basic price for pig carcases of a standard quality at its current level, namely ECU 1509.39/t. The standard quality (unchanged) is defined in terms of carcase weight and lean meat content as follows: - carcases weighing not less than 60 but less than 120 kgs: grade 'E' - carcases weighing from 120 to 180 kgs: grade 'R'. �
