Transport of dangerous goods by road: type-approval of motor vehicles and trailers (amend. Directive 70/156/EEC)

La Commission accepted the common position, which accorded with the initial intentions of its proposal. It considered that early adoption of the Directive would enable the full type approval procedure to be implemented and to operate, and would constitute an important step towards realisation of the single market in this sector.�
