Premium to sheep producers in non less-favoured areas of Ireland and Northern Ireland

OBJECTIVE: granting an additional premium to sheepmeat producers in non-less-favoured areas in Ireland and Northern Ireland in respect of Northern Ireland
in order to offset a substantial loss of income incurred by these producers in
Spring 1995 on account of market prices which were extremely low for the time
of year.
COMMUNITY MEASURE: Council Regulation (EC) 96/1452.
SUBSTANCE: A supplementary premium of ECU 6.50 per ewe is granted for the 1995
marketing year to the affected Ireland and United Kingdom producers in respect
of Northern Ireland.
ENTRY INTO FORCE: 29 July 1996.
