Hops: amount of aid to producers for 1995

OBJECTIVE: fixing the amount of producer aid in the hop sector for the 1995 harvest for certain groups of varieties. COMMUNITY MEASURE: Council Regulation (EC) No 1601/96. SUBSTANCE: Aid to hop producers for the 1995 harvest is fixed as follows: - Aromatic varieties: ECU 444/ha; - Bitter varieties: ECU 416/ha; - Other varieties: ECU 298/ha; - Experimental varieties: ECU 298/ha. The amount of aid takes into account the average return on the areas in full production as compared with the average returns for previous harvests, the current position of the markets and trends in costs. It represents an average reduction of 15% from the aid granted for the 1994 harvest. ENTRY INTO FORCE: 19 August 1996. �
