EP Rules of procedure: amendment after the signing of the Treaty of Amsterdam

The European Parliament approved a large number of rule changes with a view to enabling the Parliament to adjust to the workings of the Amsterdam Treaty. These rule changes will apply from the day the Amsterdam Treaty enters into force. The Parliament's rapporteurs were Richard Corbett (PSE,UK), Antoni Gutiérrez Díaz (GUE/NGL,ES) and Ana Palacio Vallelersundi (PPE,ES).�
