Car industry: compressed natural gas propulsion systems CNG, UN/ECE Regulation

Under assent procedure without debate, the European Parliament approved the recommendation by Peter Kittelmann (PPE,DE), giving its assent to the position of the European Community on the draft regulation of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe concerning the approval of specific components of motor vehicles using compressed natural gas (CNG) in their propulsion systems and of vehicles with regard to the installation of specific components of an approved type for the use of CNG in their propulsion systems.�
