European Investment Bank (EIB) loans to the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia FYROM: Community guarantee to the EIB against losses

In adopting the report by Mr John TOMLINSON (PSE, UK), the European Parliament approved
unamended the proposal concerning the granting of a Community guarantee to the European
Investment Bank against losses under loans for projects in the Former Yugoslav Republic of
Macedonia. The total cost of the projects receiving funding must not exceed ECU 150 m (ECU 60
m in 1998, 50 m in 1999 and 40 m in the year 2000).�
