Transport of dangerous goods by rail

The European Parliament, in its first reading, approved the Commission proposal for a Directive to amend Directive 96/49/EC regarding transport of dangerous goods by rail without amendment. Parliament's Rapporteur was Mr. Konstantinos Hatzidakis (EPP, Greece).�
