Nut sector: quality and marketing improvement, extension of plans for one year (Regulation (EEC) No 1035/72)

The European Parliament adopted the report by Mrs Maria IZQUIERDO ROJO (PES, E) by 404 votes to 28, with 15 abstentions. This report calls for support schemes for the EC nut sector to be extended for two more year, rather than the one year proposed by the Commission, and for the direct aid scheme for hazelnuts to be continued for another two years.
