Forests: protection against fire, extension to 2002 (amend. Regulation (EEC) No 2158/92)

The European Parliament, using its procedure without debate, adopted the report drafted by Encarnacion Redondo Jimenez (EPP/ED, Spain) on the protection of the Community's forests against fire. (Please refer to the document dated 19/02/02.) The financial allocation for the implementation of the scheme is EUR 59.9 million for the period 1997 to 2002.�
