The European Parliament adopted the report by Mr Kurt LECHNER (EPP-ED, D) with amendments.
The Parliament proposes that the Commission will first of all draw up a proposal for a regulation on unintentional cadmium content in mineral fertilisers, which it will submit to the European Parliament and the Council by 30 June 2002.�
