The European Parliament adopted the resolution drafted by Christa RANDZIO-PLATH (PES, Germany) (330 votes for, 15 against and 60 abstentions) and delivered a favourable opinion on the appointment of Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell as a member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank.�
