European Commission: external service, development

In adopting the report by Mr Gerardo GALEOTE QUECEDO (EPP-ED, E), the European Parliament approved this resolution on a Commission consultation document with proposals for the reform of the organisation of its diplomatic delegations based in third countries. These proposals seek to enable the service on the ground to respond in a better way to an increasing workload, particularly with regard to the management of aid. All seven amendments were adopted.
