Common agricultural policy (CAP): direct support schemes

In adopting the report by Mr Friedrich-Wilhelm GRAEFE zu BARINGDORF (GREENS/EFA, D), the European Parliament supports the Commission's plan for a trial scheme designed to simplify the payment of CAP subsidies to farmers who receive small sums of money under direct support schemes. However, the House want the cash limit raised to ensure that more lower-income farmers benefit. (Please refer to the previous document).�
