European Central Bank ECB: appointment of Mrs Tumpel-Gugerell as member of the Executive Board from June 2003

PURPOSE : to appoint a Member of the Executive Board of the ECB. COMMUNITY MEASURE : Decision 2003/379/EC taken by common accord of the Governments of the Member States that have adopted the euro at the level of Heads of State or Government appointing a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB). CONTENT : Ms Gertrude TUMPEL-GUGERELL has been appointed a Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank for a term of office of eight years. This appointment takes effect from 1 June 2003.�
