PURPOSE : to adjust the basic salaries and allowances applicable to Europol staff.
PROPOSED ACT : Council Decision, Initiative of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
CONTENT : this draft Decision aims to adjust the basic salaries and allowances applicable to Europol staff. In a review by the Management Board, account was taken of the changes in the cost of living in the Netherlands, as well as of the changes in salaries in the public service in the Member States. The said review justifies an increase of 0,2% of remuneration for the period between 01.07.2003 and 01.07.2004.
It is for the Council, acting unanimously, to adjust the basic salaries and allowances of officials of Europol, on the basis of the review.
