Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market: term of office of the President

 The committee adopted the report by its chairman, Giuseppe GARGANI (EPP-ED, IT), broadly approving the proposal under the consultation procedure. However, MEPs adopted amendments aimed at giving Parliament a role in the procedures for the appointment of the President and the renewal of his/her term of office.
