Budgetary discipline: mobilisation of the flexibility instrument for the rehabilitation and the reconstruction following the tsunami disaster

 The committee adopted the report by Reimer BÖGE (EPP-ED, DE) approving the decision to mobilise the flexibility instrument to provide EUR 275 million in commitment appropriations for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Iraq (100m), the rehabilitation and reconstruction assistance to Tsunami-affected countries (95m), the Sugar Protocol countries affected by the reform of the EU sugar regime in 2006 (40m) and the Common Foreign and Security Policy (40m).
