Car industry: Community to United Nations Economic Commission for Europe UN/ECE Regulation 107 on provisions concerning the approval of category M2 or M3 vehicles with regard to their general construction

The Council agreed on a common approach with a view to adopting a Decision on the accession of the Community to United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE) Regulation 107 on uniform provisions concerning the approval of category M2 or M3 vehicles with regard to their general construction. The draft Decision will be forwarded to the European Parliament for its assent.

The Decision will enable the Commission to vote in favour of the draft Regulation at a forthcoming

meeting of the UN/ECE World Forum for Harmonisation of Vehicle Regulation.
