Decision approving the appointment of Leonard Orban, new Member of the Commission nominated by Romania

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on the appointment of the new Romanian Commissioner by 595 votes for, 16 against and 29 abstentions, and approved the appointment of Mr. Leonard ORBAN, for the term of office remaining until 31 October 2009.
