EC/South Africa agreement: additional protocol to the Agreement on Trade, Development and Cooperation TDCA; accession of Bulgaria and Romania to the EU

This proposal concerns the final act of the draft Council Decision concerning the conclusion of the additional protocol to the Agreement on Trade, Development and Cooperation between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and the Republic of South Africa, of the other part, to take account of the accession of the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania to the European Union.

The content of the Agreement has not been amended. It is in line with that of the Commission’s initial proposal (please refer to the previous initial proposal of 17/11/2008).
