EC/Switzerland agreement: trade in agricultural products

This proposal for a decision forms the legal basis by which the European Community and the Swiss Confederation amends Annex 11 to the Agreement between the European Community and the Swiss Confederation on trade in agricultural products.
The content of the Agreement is, in essence, consistent with the Commission’s initial proposal (refer to the initial proposal of 7 November 2008).
The Agreement, together with the Final Act thereto, was signed, on behalf of the Community, on 23 December 2008 subject to its conclusion.
This decision requires the European Parliament’s assent.
