Amending budget 2/2009: SESAR Joint Undertaking; European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control ECDC; European Railway Agency ERA; GMES operational services; Food Facility

PURPOSE: final adoption of amending budget No 2 of the European Union for the financial year /2009.

LEGISLATIVE ACT: Decision 2009/456/EC, Euratom.

CONTENT: the European Parliament finally adopted amending budget No 2/2009 of the European Union, in accordance with its resolution of 22 April 2009 (please see the summary of the resolution).

This amending budget covers the following items:

• the establishment plans of the Single European Sky ATM Research (SESAR) Joint Undertaking and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC);
• the modification of the European Railway Agency (ERA);
• the modification of the budget remarks for "Global Monitoring for environment and Security" (GMES) Preparatory Action.
